Stereo Images of the Martian Surface Taken by the IMP
The IMP's two "eyes" enable scientists to make stereo, or "3D," images. Stereo imaging is very useful because it makes it possible to determine distances to objects and sizes of rocks.
These stereo images are all displayed as red/blue anaglyphs. To view them in three dimensions you need red and blue glasses.
